North Lincoln County Early Childhood Coalition

The North Lincoln County Early Childhood Coalition (NLCECC) was formed so that organizations and people who work specifically with the early childhood population (0-5 year olds) in our area could have a place to come together to share ideas, collaborate, and work to help our young children and families with young children thrive. We believe that families are a child's first and most important teacher, and that each child has a right to learn and grow in a safe, nurturing, and high quality environment. We want the best outcomes for our youngest learners and believe in the power of play, imagination, creativity, and fun. We develop conditions of respect, acceptance, trust, and kindness inside the coalition and in our communities.

We offer parent nights and family workshops where we share information with parents about specific topics that will help them as they raise their young children. We have a website, www.nlcecc.org; a Facebook page, NLC Early Childhood Coalition; and an Instagram account, NLC_Early_Childhood_Coalition. On these platforms, we share information that directly applies to families with 0-5 year old children. This information includes videos, tips, and local events. We have lists of local preschools and daycares and a kindergarten readiness checklist and a Getting Ready for Kindergarten booklet. We also have lists of resources that might be helpful for families with young children.
